What this covers
- Access control and door entry systems
- Master key suites, so one key opens what it should and nothing else

- Panic bars and fire-escape hardware
- Shopfront, roller shutter and aluminium door locks
- Door closers and automatic closing devices
- Landlord, letting agent and managing agent contracts
Not sure whether your job fits? Ring and describe it. We’ll tell you honestly, including when it’s something you don’t need a locksmith for at all.
Where we cover
Our own locksmiths work across 6 boroughs: Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Greenwich, City of London and Westminster. Outside that we arrange a vetted locksmith from our network and stay responsible for the job.
See every postcode we coverQuestions we get asked
- What is a master key suite?
- A hierarchy of keys. Each tenant, member of staff or contractor gets a key that opens only what they should, while a master key opens everything above it. A cleaner opens the communal doors but not the offices; a manager opens both. It is planned properly on paper first, because retrofitting a badly designed suite means recutting every lock.
- Can you work outside our trading hours?
- Yes, and for most commercial jobs that is the sensible way to do it. We work 24 hours, so installation and lock changes can happen overnight or at a weekend rather than with customers stepping around us.
- Does fire-escape hardware have legal requirements?
- Yes. Escape routes must open from the inside without a key, and panic and emergency exit hardware is covered by BS EN 1125 and BS EN 179 respectively — which one applies depends on whether the public uses the building. Fitting an ordinary deadlock to a fire exit is both a safety risk and something that will be raised at your next fire risk assessment.
- Do you work with landlords and managing agents?
- Yes, across South East London and the City. Tenancy-turnover lock changes, communal door entry, and make-safe after a break-in are steady work for us. We can invoice on agreed terms rather than asking for payment at the door.
- Can you open a safe if the combination is lost?
- In most cases yes, and often without destroying the safe. Bring proof you own it. If a safe does have to be drilled we will tell you first, and whether it can be put back into service afterwards.
Other things we do
Emergency & burglary
Locked out, broken in, or a lock that has failed. We attend 24 hours a day, open doors without damage wherever possible, and make your property secure before we leave.

Locks & upgrades
New locks fitted, old locks replaced, and security brought up to the standard your insurer actually requires — including British Standard BS3621 and anti-snap cylinders.

UPVC & composite doors
Multipoint mechanisms, handles, hinges and alignment. Most UPVC doors that have stopped locking can be repaired rather than replaced, at a fraction of the cost of a new door.
Car keys & entry
Locked out of your car, lost the only key, or snapped one in the ignition. We open vehicles without damage and cut and program replacement keys at the roadside, usually for far less than a main dealer.
