How it works

You price the job

We describe the work; you quote what it’s worth. We add our margin on top and that is what the customer pays. We don’t set your rates and we don’t ask you to work to someone else’s price list.

No call-out charge, on every job

Customers are promised a free quote from photos, and that includes jobs you attend for us. If a customer turns down the quote once you have arrived, our terms charge them a minimum labour charge based on the distance travelled; what you receive for that visit is part of what we agree with you for the job. Quoting from their photos before you set off means it rarely comes up.

You can say no

Every job is an offer, not an instruction. Turn down anything that doesn’t suit your day, your patch or your skills. It doesn’t affect what we send you next.

We hold the customer contract

The customer’s contract is with us, so we handle the enquiry, the quote and any dispute. You do the work and deal with us, rather than chasing payment from a member of the public.

We pay within 3 working days

Once the job is confirmed complete, you’re paid within 3 working days. We clear the confirmation queue every day, so nothing sits waiting on us. In return, where you’ve collected payment on our behalf we ask you to pass our share on within 48 hours.

You stand behind your own work

If something you fitted fails, we’d expect you to go back and put it right at no charge, as you would for your own customer. That’s the deal, and it’s why we can promise the customer the same thing.
